This healthy dessert made from chia seeds will be a cold treat your kids will look forward to! Make it in advance, pop it in the fridge and enjoy whenever you’re craving something sweet.

Ranked no. 5 on the World’s Most Nutritious Foods list, Chia seeds are a powerhouse of fibre, protein, calcium, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. They also contain zinc, vitamin B3, potassium, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2; and are very low calorie. 

Chia seeds are generally non-GMO, gluten free and usually grown organically. 

Mom Tip!

Make it a science experiment! Due to its high soluble fiber content, chia seeds can absorb up to 10 to 12 times their weight in water. 

Prepare a few containers and spoon on 1 tbsp of chia seeds each, then put different amounts of liquid into each container. Three hours later, voilà !
